The Nile 04:47
I’m in the Nile I drink from the same water I piss and bathe in Water’s up to here, push it down, push it down I’ll build taller, not think smaller Waters up to here, push them down, push them down Air has a foul stench, pump it full of chemicals Smog so thick, I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe Artificial sweet scent, false sense of security Knees pressing down, he can’t breathe, he can’t breathe I’m in the Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites I’m the smartest, and I write my own rules Time is money, and I won’t suffer fools Make the strongest arms, keep myself in demand By concocting foes who fight with guns by my own hand I’m not good, I am great, validate, perpetuate You need me because I say, see my tanks they’ll roll today If you dare to contradict me, I’ll smash your face Overflowing good will, I hope you have a nice day I’m in the Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites I say I’m not an animal But in the zoo I’m the biggest hippo with the smallest campus I’ll smear you just for fun But if you call me out, I’ll draw a gun I say I’m not an animal But in the zoo I’m the biggest hippo with the smallest campus I’ll smear you just for fun But if you call me out, I’ll draw a gun Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites Nile Waters rising high, and I can’t be bothered Smile Rotten to the core, I’ll still show my pearly whites

DWB 06:01
There’s no justice in this land Authority abhors a moral vacuum When you can’t drive your car without police harassment That isn’t freedom That isn’t justice DWB Freedom isn’t free DWB Freedom isn’t free Foundations built on spilt blood Can’t respect hypocritical “laws” Trace them back a few hundred years Their whole purpose is to spread fear DWB Freedom isn’t free DWB Freedom isn’t free The whole system’s broken, needs to be re-imagined Don’t put gauze on gaping wounds and say, “it’s all fixed” Piecemeal fund adjustments only serve to dress the windows Demand radical change, or we’re back at square one DWB Freedom isn’t free DWB Freedom isn’t free DWB Freedom isn’t free

Your Fruit 04:04
Once so quiet They were grown Now they’re stolen Not my own You once took pride In their taste Used to love how They would glow Your pride and joy Is erased Corporate greed It will flow All the things that were once good They’re destroyed All the beauty of the land It’s stolen All the stories and the words They’re re-written All the labors of your fruit Can’t compete What was taken Now I sell Extra ones rot On the shelf Purchase in bulk Costing dimes Never blamed for All my crimes I will turn blind eyes I will tell you lies All the things that were once good They’re destroyed All the beauty of the land It’s stolen All the stories and the words They’re re-written All the labors of your fruit Can’t compete All the things that were once good They’re destroyed All the beauty of the land It’s stolen All the stories and the words They’re re-written All the labors of your fruit Can’t compete All the things that were once good They’re destroyed All the beauty of the land It’s stolen All the stories and the words They’re re-written All the labors of your fruit Can’t compete

This badge I wear like a scar so deep No amount of scrubbing can change its meaning Everywhere I go, crime do I see I’ll clean up this mess; leave it to me, leave it to me I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe Tradition born of necessity I’ll protect those who’re in power Their wealth and influence shapes policy Threats to them multiply by the hour I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe I’m here to keep you safe

By now you can see I’m not full of hate Not usually irate But given these days Weeks in which we stew In heat and sickness new I can’t stand the sight Of your bare face in the light Months have passed or minutes It all feels the same You all make no progress Treat this like a game I am beyond done With dealing with your s*** If I were a kettle I’d spill on your toes I am wanting, wishing now To be so far away from you Since you will not disappear I’ll go anywhere but here It’s not a joke these lives that are lost Your ignorance blinds you to that fact You deny the human cost Of the selfish ways you act It’s not a joke these lives that are lost Your ignorance blinds you to that fact You deny the human cost Of the selfish ways you act I am wanting, wishing now To be so far away from you Since you will not disappear I’ll go anywhere but here I am wanting, wishing now To be so far away from you Since you will not disappear I’ll go anywhere but here

about

This album is intended to be a critique of US American policy as it is and has been. In particular, the wholesale abuse, slaughter and later neglect of indigenous people (especially Native American peoples, as well as others nearby and overseas) to the forced "allyship" of other countries and states through brutal military excess and colonization, and rampant racism as it still exists today.

The USA as a state thrives on a myth of exceptionalism, one in which its citizens are taught to view their own lives above those of other people. it thrives because of a myth of providing greater opportunities than other nation states. The conundrum only thickens when one looks at how, historically, the US has played a key, if not primary, part in making living in other nation states so difficult. It then proceeds to treat those for whose suffering it is responsible with apprehension, bigotry, and hatred when those people come to it for greater "opportunities."

The US is by no means the youngest country on Earth but displays a startling lack of maturity or self-reflection, continuing to place the importance of property and capital above the very lives of its citizens for whom it claims to have been made.

The United States of America is rotten at its core. Where it ought to be human and humane, it remains cold, hard, and metal.
