about

V Is For Violence is a project that provides industrial metal instrumentals as a backdrop for women's perspectives on violence. Each speaker was asked to share a monologue of her "thoughts on violence." No further prompts or directions were given.

Cover photo by Nyentek (www.instagram.com/NyentekArt). Logo by Olivia Sherman (www.instagram.com/olivia_sherm). Metalwork by Amy Gignesi (www.instagram.com/gignesi). All music produced by Nyentek. All words provided by guest speakers. Guest guitars on "Pacifism" by Jimmy Jackson - meltedmoonbeams.bandcamp.com, Harley Cullen - www.instagram.com/fart.on.the.deathstar / zornphilly.bandcamp.com, and saxophone by Max Bessesen - instagram.com/maxbessesen / www.maxbessesen.com.

This project was assembled from October, 2017 to October, 2019.
